Intermunicipal Community of the Dão Lafões region

The Viseu Dão Lafões Intermunicipal Community's mission is to establish, together with its member municipalities and all public and private economic, social, and cultural stakeholders in the region, intervention priorities that, together, contribute to the Viseu Dão Lafões Region becoming an innovative, entrepreneurial, attractive, and competitive region, enabling its sustainable growth and economic and social cohesion.

Its mission is to promote the planning and management of the economic, social, and environmental development strategy within its territory, to coordinate municipal investments of intermunicipal interest, to participate in the management of regional development support programs, particularly within the framework of the multiannual financial frameworks of European Community policy, among others.

From its inception, it has been committed to becoming a benchmark Intermunicipal Community, based on its ability to meet the needs of municipalities and the region, and on the expertise and technical and human quality of its technicians, which instills a sense of credibility and trust in its members.
