Finicia Jovem

Finicia Jovem (Young Finance Program), launched by the Portuguese Youth Institute (IPJ) in 2012, focuses on granting microcredit of up to €25,000 with attractive interest rates to unemployed or underemployed young people.

A result of a partnership with IAPMEI, Finicia Jovem offers special conditions for young people up to 35 years old. To guarantee access to financial resources, the State, through IAPMEI, shares the risk of these operations with venture capital firms, banking institutions, mutual guarantee companies, and Business Angels through the FINOVA Fund.
