Mafra UP - Ideas Competition 2026
The Municipality of Mafra, through the Business Factory, is promoting the new edition of Mafra UP - Ideas Competition aimed at all Entrepreneurs and Startups who, through innovation and value creation, present business ideas and solutions with an impact on the municipality and within its strategic development areas: Tourism, Blue Economy, Agri-food, Sustainability and Technology.
Among the two categories competing in 2026 - Entrepreneur, for entrepreneurs applying individually or in teams, and Startup, for individual entrepreneurs or companies with up to five years of existence - the projects that stand out the most in the following criteria will be selected::
␥ Innovative and differentiating business idea or solution
␥ Viability of the idea or solution presented
␥ Alignment with the municipality's strategic development areas
␥ Potential impact on the territory of Mafra
The winners will be awarded direct integration into the Bootcamp to be held by the Business Factory; tickets to the Web Summit for each category winner; free six-month incubation at Business Factory; and a cash prize of €750 for the winning idea for the winner of the Startup category.
