Business Factory
Business Factory is the Mafra City Council's startup incubator, whose mission is to boost projects that transform business ideas into impactful, technological, and sustainable solutions, focusing on the Tourism, Blue Economy, and Agri-food sectors.
Through incubation, acceleration, training programs, and other initiatives to energize and strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem, Business Factory supports the development of innovative solutions that contribute to the economic development of the region.
Powered by SBI Consulting and currently with two incubation hubs, one in Mafra and the other in Ericeira, focused primarily on ideas and businesses related to the Tourism, Blue Economy and Agri-food sectors, Business Factory provides personalized support to entrepreneurs, helping them achieve their goals with the support of a network of mentors and partners with solid knowledge and experience in key areas such as legislation, finance, accounting, financing, human resources, marketing, communications, and much more.

In addition to promoting the incubator and coordinating its incubation program, SBI also promotes acceleration programs, training, and other initiatives to promote and cohesion the municipality's entrepreneurial ecosystem, such as Startegy, an entrepreneur training program, MafraUp, a competition that rewards the best business ideas for the region, Mafra Entrepreneurship Week, and Mafra Sustainability Month.
