Women4Climate Lisbon

Women4Climate Lisbon is a mentoring and training program for women responsible for developing projects within the Green Economy that generate a positive climate impact.

This initiative by the Lisbon City Council, Startup Lisboa, and Casa do Impacto/SCML, presented as part of the Lisbon European Green Capital 2020 nomination, is the result of the Portuguese capital's membership in the C40 network, the climate leadership network of major cities that aims to combat climate change.

The program's main objective is to promote the advancement of women in the development of businesses and projects that align with the objectives and priority areas of Lisbon Green Capital 2020, as well as the goals of the United Nations 2030 Agenda, drawing attention to the key role of women in climate activism in cities.
