I want to sell (more) online - what do I need to know?

"I want to sell (more) online - what do I need to know? How to start or grow an e-commerce business?" is the fourth session of the training program launched by the Lisbon City Council for local merchants, Comércio+.

Led by Artur Madeira, Digital Marketing & Social Media Strategist, the session, scheduled for June 24, 2025, at 7:00 pm in Largo de São Julião, is designed for merchants and entrepreneurs who want to take their first steps in e-commerce or improve their online store.

The fundamental concepts of e-commerce and its potential to boost local commerce will be covered, as well as some of the main platforms available for creating an online store, highlighting the advantages and limitations of each. The session also covers the essential steps for launching a digital store - from product selection to payment methods, logistics, and customer service - as well as a set of best practices to get started on the right foot.

Comércio+ is a program led by SBI Consulting designed to strengthen local commerce through training sessions (in-person and online) and specialized support in various areas, from business management to digitalization and marketing.
