Mafra Entrepreneurship Week 2025
The era of Artificial Intelligence and its impact on new business creation is the main theme of the next edition of Mafra Entrepreneurship Week, scheduled for May 20-23, 2025.
An initiative of the Mafra City Hall, carried out through Business Factory, with support from SBI Consulting.
Lectures, debates, open days, conferences, and much more, bringing together entrepreneurs, experts, executives, and students driven by the spirit of innovation, on a journey that aims to explore the potential of future trends in Artificial Intelligence, opening doors for increasingly agile, scalable, and disruptive businesses.
What will be the impact of Artificial Intelligence on the development of new businesses? Which ones might emerge in the future? And which types of companies could benefit most? These answers will be explored during Mafra Entrepreneurship Week, seeking to understand the transformative potential of Artificial Intelligence and how it will shape the performance and structure of companies so that, in a continuous pace of innovation, they can identify new opportunities and anticipate challenges when planning the launch of new businesses for the future.
The program begins on May 20th, with the opening of the Business Factory for School Visits, welcoming students from municipal schools with the goal of stimulating entrepreneurship through different dynamics and inviting them to learn from startup founders. This is followed by Business Factory Day on the 21st, reserved for projects currently supported by the incubator, with a series of community initiatives and meetings with experts. On the 22nd, we will hold an Open Day for anyone interested in visiting the facilities of the Mafra and Ericeira incubation centers and understanding what kind of support they can expect from Business Factory in developing their business ideas.
On May 23rd, from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm, with the main objective of connecting young entrepreneurs with employability, the first edition of the Mafra Job Fair will take place in the south cloister of the Royal Building of Mafra. With free admission, it is the perfect opportunity to seek new job opportunities and also to learn about the skills currently most valued in a constantly evolving job market.
The Mafra Entrepreneurship Week program concludes that same day at 4:00 pm with the conference "New Businesses in the Age of Artificial Intelligence" featuring experts in an event focused on the power and influence of this technology in the world of entrepreneurship and companies, and the potential opportunities and threats to the success of new businesses. The lineup also includes the announcement of the winners of the Mafra Up - Ideas Contest, as well as the winning project from the Business Factory Demo Day. We will also add to the celebrations the distinction and recognition of the PME Líder of the municipality of Mafra.
