Mafra Up - Ideas Competition 2025

For all young entrepreneurs, business owners, and startups who, through innovation and value creation, contribute to the economic development of the municipality of Mafra.

The Mafra City Hall, through Business Factory, launches the new edition of Mafra Up - Ideas Competition.

This initiative, implemented and promoted by SBI Consulting, is aimed at all young entrepreneurs, business owners, and startups who, through innovation and value creation, contribute to the municipality's economic development in at least one of its strategic areas: Ocean Economy, Tourism, Agri-food, Technology, and Sustainability.

In addition to the Best Startup and Best Entrepreneur categories, the Best Young Entrepreneur category will be launched in 2025, aiming to encourage the creation and development of new business ideas among young people in the region.

The winners will be the projects with the most innovative and distinctive business idea, feasible, with potential for impact in the Mafra region, and aligned with at least one of the municipality's strategic development areas.

Registration is open until April 15th, and the winners will be announced at the Business Factory Demo Day scheduled for April 28th, 2025. They will receive direct integration into the Bootcamp and access to free incubation for six months at the incubator, tickets to the Web Summit, and a prize of seven hundred and fifty euros for the winning idea in the Startup category.
